Creating Content to $100K+ This Year
Content creation has exploded over the past few years. Today, you can make a full-time living creating Content, whether or not you have a social following!
It’s a really incredible time to be a creator, and I want to share my plan for hitting $100K+ from content creation income again!
Zero to $100K+ as a creator
This won’t be the first time I hit this milestone.
It takes a ton of work, planning, and goal-setting to get here. These are my content creation income streams:
- Writing
- Influencer-based content creation
- UGC
- Blogging
There are many different kinds of creators. A lot of people assume a content creator is a social media influencer. They aren’t the only creators.
You can be a writer, podcaster, filmmaker, etc.
It’s not just limited to creating social media content for your social following.
Writing as a content creator
This is about making money from writing. You can do this by creating Content for clients and writing for platforms like Medium or others.
I do both!
I love writing for content creation because it’s something literally anybody can do. It’s an outlet to vent, it can be stress-reducing, and a great way to express yourself and make money!
Content creation for influencers
Whether you’re a vlogger or have a social presence on TikTok, Instagram, or other platforms, if you have a social following, you can monetize that audience in many ways.
Make money with…
- Brand deals (or sponsorships)
- Selling products
- Selling services
- Affiliate marketing
- Ads
UGC content creators
This is a cool way to make social media content with no social followers required. You’re making Content for companies that pay you to make their Content for a fee.
I’ve done this off and on for years.
Recently, I had a client that was paying me $2,000 a month for less than a dozen social posts that I didn’t even have to post!
It would take me no time at all to make the videos then, payday!
This makes you money through a client partnership. You can find these opportunities by cold pitching clients you want to work with, networking (Twitter is a great place for this), or applying to sponsored networks where UGC may be available, like Creator X.
Content creation in blogging
Write a blog. Monetize it with ads, affiliate marketing, selling your stuff, and partnerships.
I just set up a $650/month recurring partnership deal with a new client!
And it’s passive!
There’s so much opportunity with blogging.
TL;DR
This is the age of the content creator.
