Create An Alphabet Christmas Coloring Book for Kids🎄

Its that time of the year again y’all.

Christmas is just around the corner and what kid doesn’t love laying up under the Christmas tree, sipping on some cold eggnog and coloring in their favorite coloring book?

My kids surely do!

And its not too late to start uploading these types of coloring books on your Amazon KDP account.

I created the above image using Midjourney and Book Bolt and it was so easy.

Here’s what I did.

The first thing that I always do before even creating a product to sell is RESEARCH. It’s so important. You don’t want to just upload products that no one will ever see or buy.

Its just a huge waste of time.

I personally use Book Bolt and Self Publishing Titans for my research in Amazon. When I typed in ABC Christmas coloring book into the search bar in Book Bolt, I got the below result.

This means that over a thousand people are searching for this long-tailed keyword in Amazon, which in my opinion is a pretty good amount.

I then plugged the keyword directly into Amazon to see the results from Self Publishing Titans overview.

The BSR is over a million which means that the average book is selling at least 2books per month. The higher the Niche Score the better the keyword is.

I would use this keyword on the backend during upload, but I would also continue to search for a long-tailed keyword with a better BSR. Book Bolt, shows tons of different keywords for this type of coloring book.

My next steps

Secondly, I created my images for my ABC Christmas coloring book using Midjourney AI.

I used the following prompt:

/imagine cute Santa Claus, coloring page for kids, clean line art, white background

I settled on the first image. The great thing about Midjourney is that you can keep regenerating your image until you find your perfect fit.

You can also use Midjourney to create your letters, but honestly this takes some time to get the perfect image and may require some clean up.

Midjourney isn’t the best with letter creation. It took several regenerations to get this image and it came out pretty dark.

My final steps would be to create my coloring book using Book Bolt Studio, which is very user friendly. I created my text there as well to cut my time in half instead of using Midjourney.

So I would repeat these steps until I have a completed Christmas coloring book!
