Hello dear readers,
Hope you all are in good health ! It’s almost weekend ! Have you ever noticed, how our mind and inner body feels when Friday arrives ? I’m sure we all feel the same :-), withdrawn from our routines , excited for Friday evenings & these thoughts keep us momentarily relaxed.
Let’s create a mindful Friday by imbibing these relaxed positive thoughts and contain them not just for a moment, but instead letting this energy circulate through whole body & mind for a complete self relaxation.
Our body understands our inner signals and short circuits. It knows what kind of feelings our mind & heart are generating. It’s like an electrical circuit, only smarter & a self healer.
Let’s slowly start withdrawing from our routine today. Let’s create positive vibes inside our body with momentary mindful thoughts of withdrawal from the weekday routine, from the daily performance anxiety, from the stress of completing redundant tasks, from the routined alertness of brain, from our daily professional selves !
Today, let’s prepare our body & mind with creating gradual mindful relaxation signals with each passing hour.
Let go of the tightness in your body, keep taking few deep breaths , let your imagination take you to your happy relaxation weekend scene, then again, let go, let go of the present, very slowly & steadily, letting this feeling sink in, loosening the tightness in your muscles all over, prepping your body for a weekend of actual inner relaxation !
The very gradual & mindful process of withdrawal and generating & signaling positive happy vibes within, simultaneously when working, helps the body to steadily release that wonderful relaxation energy, giving us a gentle smile as we imagine our weekend to be, without overwhelming the inner thoughts and energy . When it’s time to wrap up for the day, we are already relaxed deep within, which helps maintain a calmer yet excited state of mind & body synergy to reap more benefits health wise.
In my opinion and experience , practicing a very gradual whole body and inner relaxation generates much healthy signals inside & lasts longer , giving our body more mental & physical benefits than momentary relaxation thoughts.
It might be tough at first to be mindful while working, but since it’s a practice specifically for a Friday to reap deep mental & physical benefits throughout the weekend; I’m sure mindfully trying will get you there eventually. This will also keep the mind and body in sync & prepare them for the next routined week of work.
