People have sacrificed their lives in world wars for freedom. Why? Because it is one of the most essential human rights and needs. An opinion you are probably not going to like!

If there was a topic I did not want to talk or write about, it’s Covid-19. This is the most popular topic in the news and probably on Medium, too. So, why not write about it?

It is not because I have nothing to say about it, but because I have too much to say.

My beef with Covid-19

I don’t have a problem with this virus itself. I mean, obviously I do, but there is a bigger elephant in the room.

The problem is the narrative that the governments, scientists, doctors, and big pharma are serving us.

Let me be clear, I do not care if this is a naturally occurring disease that came from bats or if it is man-made. I don’t care if it is an accident or an intentional outbreak from a lab meant to infect many people and make some other people very rich. We already had SARS, swine flu (H1N1), bird flu (HPAI), and still among us, a monkey-originated-type-of disease, HIV. So it could be that a lot of animals are responsible for spreading so many dangerous diseases. But that is all beside the point.

This is not the story about a pandemic: this is about how pandemic endangered our freedom. During the last 12 months, most of the world was in some type of lockdown, or serious restrictions at best. Shops and businesses were either completely closed or had restricted working hours. There was an unprecedented worldwide panic and fear spread by the media and most of the politicians. People who protested against the lockdowns, restrictions in their lives, and their businesses were very often arrested and beaten by the police. This happened in many countries around the world.

Judging by the campaign in the media, half of humanity should have been dead by now! And yet, something does not add up. To this day, we had 2.51 million deaths out of 113.47 million cases: https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/

That is only about 2.84%.

Also, we have different vaccines available now and the doctors are saying that numbers are dropping.

But that is still not the end of limitations to our freedom.

I have a simple question: Are you people for real??? All this sounds like a bad joke!
