Summary

The web content is a reflective piece acknowledging the influence of Esther George's wisdom on the author's own work, specifically a tanka poem titled "Course Correction," and expressing the intent to publish it on a new platform despite its incomplete development.

Abstract

The author shares a personal tanka poem named "Course Correction," which was inspired by the insights of Esther George. This poem reflects on the concept of interruptions potentially being necessary course corrections. The author draws a parallel between their poem and another piece by Esther George, "All Your Life Has Prepared You For This Next Phase," suggesting that both works resonate with the theme of embracing life's flow and changes. Despite the author's new publishing platform being in its infancy and lacking certain aesthetic elements like an avatar or banner, they are eager to move forward with publication. The author openly invites friends from the "MediumVerse" to collaborate in refining the platform, preferring organic participation over direct solicitation through tagging.

Dear Esther,

As I was reading yet another installation of your pearls of wisdom series, All Your Life Has Prepared You For This Next Phase, it reminded me of this piece of mine, that I call a poem though some call it prose, perhaps its prosetry, that seems to have gotten lost in the shuffle:

The above tanka was directly inspired by your story, and I am choosing your inspiration to be the first piece I publish in my child, which is not remotely ready for primetime, but I do not care that I lack an avatar and a banner and all that jazz that I am not well-suited to create. I hope that a few of my friends here in the MediumVerse will volunteer to join me in polishing this stone. I have a few in mind, yourself included if you are so inclined, and rather than tagging, which while might be an honor could also intrude and make one feel obliged, I think I’ll sit back and see whom the current grabs.
