LOVE and Hope in DIFFICULT TIMES
Corruption Overload
Love poetry

She said he was a pimp I did not believe her Because he wasn’t a pimp in my hometown But he was in his I moved there, where he was bad And he turned shameless, real wicked I thought I could save him Change him Remake him I could not Stinging pain is having someone you love try to corrupt you As you work to avoid the exploitation traps Agony is leaving when you love deeply You don’t want to leave because times are difficult Even as it is clear they do not love you They do not love you They do not love you They do not love you I left, and the agony started It has never stopped No love immobilized me Maybe I could have saved him If I loved him enough But I loved me more
