Corrupted Vision
A Poem
I can’t see straight or maybe this is what straight looks like now A crooked version of what life used to be, but now is
Corrupted vision Eyes of a malcontent blurring the world so it will just go away
It’s not that I can’t see It’s that what I see is not correct, it is not an apt vision of reality because I can only look from home and home is far away from the rest of the world as I sit idly, at my desk, waiting for my eyes to shake clear
My glasses don’t work because it’s not my eyes that are the problem The problem lies in my heart and my heart is too scared to keep looking at this mess day after day, hour after hour, and with my heart not in it, my eyes are giving up too Lost oracles, closed for business
Maybe I will see straight again Maybe things will clear up in due time and nature’s course, but maybe this is just how my eyes are now C o R r up T E d v IsI o N
