Convicted Sex Offender Shocked and Outraged By Two Adults In A Consensual Romantic Relationship

I’m not naming any names.

Many of his followers are very insecure incels, so of course they know nothing about consensual sex. And that’s why they stand behind their hero, a convicted sex offender, and share his outrage at a consensual relationship between an adult district attorney and a prosecutor who works in her office.

Nowadays office romances are often frowned upon, especially when there is concern that there is pressure by a higher level worker on a lower level one. That’s not the case here.

The problem is obvious. The DA and the prosecutor are doing their jobs — very competently — and that job currently focuses on prosecuting attempted election fraud by a spoiled child who is nearing 80.

So, let’s focus here. A convict (he’s been convicted of civil offenses) who is legally guilty of sexual assault and defamation, and who is facing nearly 90 charges is running for president. He is doing this in defiance of the clear language of the 14th amendment which makes anyone who engages in insurrection, or even just provides aid or comfort to insurrectionists (for example, publicly declaring his love for them) ineligible for any federal or state office.

Now, many judges and other government officials refuse to enforce this law. They either support the offender (and some are guilty of the same 14th amendment violation) or are cowards, afraid to do their jobs.

A few — like the state DA who is lamely being accused of impropriety — ARE doing their jobs and defending representative government against those who are subverting it. The sex offender has publicly said he intends to be a dictator — for a day.

We all know exactly what he intends — revenge against anyone and everyone who has tried to bring him to justice.

The reality-based community — which is larger than the body of fools supporting the sex offender — doesn’t get in the headlines. In fact, media puts the reality-based community on equal footing with liars, fools and tin-foil hat loons.

The fascists and their defenders and those who are too cowardly to defend justice and the truth have no credibility. I find myself unwilling to listen to or read about or watch anything they say or do. They are circus clowns, or would be except circus clowns are honorable and talented people who provide amusement.

I, and many more people than is commonly recognized, are focused on actual important and consequential things — and the number one focus must be the preservation of the Earth’s climate, which is under a brutal sustained assault by the fossil fuel industry and those who align themselves with it.
