With watchful eyes

An empathic soul

I see the drudgery and despair

Humanity’s treachery

Repetitions of discontent

Restraints and constraints

Generational patterns repeated

Over and over

Same outcome

Different day

A conveyor belt of madness

Get off it

Get out of it

Don’t entertain getting on it

Live life by your own rules

Your own purpose

Happiness is within our reach

Now not tomorrow

Or decades later

Our soul guides us

Converse with it

Let it come alive

It will push you

To pastures new

Fighting your trepidations

Breaking barriers bound

Pain and darkness

Will keep coming

Strength will follow behind

Be your own awareness

Stop doing

Start being

Here and now

Wake up

Breathe

Stepping wholeheartedly
