Streaks of Hope

Today was one of those beautiful winter days with clear-and-a-million visibility. It took me a second to notice the contrails crisscrossing the skies.
Living in flyover country, I used to see them all the time, but they’ve been markedly absent the last 12–13 months.
I’ve recently seen data sets showing air travel starting a slow but steady recovery. Looking up I saw visual proof. It was a beautiful sight.

Have you flown during the pandemic? Are you planning to do so soon? Let me know in the comments! I’d love to hear about it.
