Abstract

The Happy Healthy Wealthy Productive Sustainable (HHWPS) project is a unique initiative designed to align personal well-being with sustainable living. It distinguishes itself by emphasizing the synergy between individual happiness and health with global sustainability. The project is structured into coherent chapters, each addressing a key aspect of daily life, such as morning routines, sleep, diet and nutrition, fitness, and mental health. The goal is to create permanent, positive changes by establishing habits and environments that promote a holistic approach to a fulfilling life. The HHWPS project aims to empower individuals to make choices that benefit both themselves and the world, suggesting that a sustainable lifestyle is not only possible but also a path to a happier, healthier, wealthier, and more productive existence.

Medium is filled with personal growth advice. So, what’s different about the Happy Healthy Wealthy Productive Sustainable (HHWPS) project?

Three things:

  1. The focus on sustainable development. My mission is to convince the world that a sustainable life is a happy, healthy, wealthy, and productive life. We can all help save the world by building a life we love living 🙂
  2. An organized structure and presentation. We’ll systematically work through 12 coherent chapters to capture all the wonderful synergies between health, happiness, and sustainability.
  3. An unwavering focus on creating permanent change. The HHWPS project is designed to make happy, healthy, wealthy, productive, and sustainable living fully automatic. It’s all about minimizing the need for willpower by building optimized environments.

This page will organize the contents of the HHWPS project as it evolves over the next two years. The chapters are listed below with links to separate pages that contain the individual articles in each chapter.

1. Morning Routines

The first hour of the day is a natural topic for the first chapter of the HHWPS project. Choices we make in this critical hour echo throughout the rest of the day, so it’s vital that we get these choices right, consistently.

Articles in this chapter focus on tying together a range of healthy morning habits into a lifelong morning routine. Once established, this collection of morning habits will boost your health, productivity, relationships, energy, and creativity for the rest of your days!

2. Sleep

It took me a long time to understand the vital role of sleep in personal growth. But now, I’ve finally seen the light: Sleep truly is the foundation of human health and performance.

Articles in this chapter will help you claim permanent ownership of the sleep your body and mind need. Today’s overstimulated world with all its early morning demands and late-night digital temptations doesn’t make this easy, but it can (and must) be done.

3. Diet and Nutrition

We all have a fairly good idea of what healthy eating looks like. The problem is acting on this knowledge. Our world is just filled with so many dangerously unhealthy treats designed to send our primitive food cravings into overdrive.

This chapter is designed to build a new relationship with food. We will carefully construct a zero-compromise diet and draw great motivation from all the good that such a diet does for ourselves and our world.

4. Fitness

Much like diet and nutrition, the population seems to grow increasingly unfit even as the fitness industry grows like a bodybuilder on steroids. The reason for this disconnect? Our environment.

This chapter of the HHWPS project shares proven ideas for shaping your environment for effortless fitness. Most people will find these changes challenging but not impossible. And once they’re successfully implemented, effortless fitness awaits!

5. Mental Health and Happiness

Many people struggle with mental health and happiness despite the material abundance in our modern world. Why is that? Well, at risk of sounding like a broken record, our environment once again takes most of the blame.

Our world has changed so rapidly over the past few generations that evolution had no chance to keep up. As a result, our caveman brains still instinctively chase instant pleasure and avoid instant pain. This primitive drive was great at keeping us alive in pre-technological times, but unfortunately, it only makes us fat, broke, and depressed in today’s society.

Chapter 5 rounds off the HHWPS holistic health strategy with a lasting solution to this vexing global problem.

6. Self Mastery
