Constant “Elevation”

Guest Prompt Week 3, Day 2: Bingz Huang

I’ve accomplished several amazing things in 2021 thus far, so much so it’s difficult to narrow it down to an overall favorite. I completed my fourth (4th) book, I’ve helped to convince numerous writers to become self-published authors, and I’ve established strong bonds with individuals around the world, just to name a few. But if I had to choose one thing I’m most pleased with during my time in the current year, it would be the bonds that were built.

I’m a firm believer that true self-preservation is when we help one another to be our best. Seeing that we’re all connected due to our speck of borrowed spirit, assisting one another just seems like the natural thing to do. Though we know a lot, we don’t know it all, and no amount of time will ever allow us to know everything. What we don’t know, others do and if we’re connected to them, we can now know as well.

We evolve through self-love, self-awareness, and self-improvement. Sure, “self” must begin with us but it doesn’t stop there, it’s just where it must start. Once that good vibration has been established from within, we can share it with others, who in turn will share theirs with us. Now, we all want what’s best for one another, and not just because it’s in our best interest, but just as importantly, it’s the right thing to do as well.

Elevation has been my mission since 2018. I’m one of those people who is never satisfied because I believe satisfaction, is the first step towards stagnation. Many of us get so caught up on accomplishments that we lose sight of the fact we were “created to create.” So, when it comes to building bonds I don’t stop with me and a person, I ensure I connect the person with others I’m connected with as well. This chain reaction eventually grows beyond my control but due to my initial involvement, it’ll never grow beyond my reach. When I’m in need of anything and if someone I know can’t assist, they know someone who can. And I’m just as generous with my time and energy because after all, energy needs to feed and be fed. We shine our brightest when we shine together.

Sometimes we’re the air, other times we’re the wings. But either or, together is the only way we’ll ever live our dreams.~Henery X
