Consciousness Corner Submission Guidelines
guidelines for the publication

Are you a thinker, theorist, sage, seeker, speculator, meditator, dreamer, psychonaut, or visionary? Then Consciousness Corner is the place for you!
What we’re looking for
Well written stories, opinions, research and otherwise consciousness-related writing.
It will be a home for memoirs, musings, meditations, dream reflections, anecdotes, and long-winded philosophical treatises.
So submit to us your most enlightening trip reports and send us down your deepest rabbit holes! Or bring us along for your most tangential and circuitous side quests. Whether groundbreaking research analyses, or dubious tales of ancient shamanic rituals in Amazonian rainforests, feel free to submit. From hilarious psychedelic misadventures to introspective essays on the nature of reality, we’re here for it all.
Applying as a writer
I won’t make this too complicated. Drop us a comment with your name or a sample of your writing that you feel best relates to our focus. Creativity and quality of content are the most important criteria. Not everyone who “applies” will be accepted, but I’m not asking you to fill out an application so hopefully that will soften the blow slightly. For those looking for a more all-inclusive, catch-all publication, Thought Thinkers may be right for you.
Submission Guidelines & Etiquette
Original Content Only: AI-written content won’t be considered for publication. Please ensure that what you’re submitting to Consciousness Corner is your original work. Material written by AI will be considered plagiarism.
Kickers are optional. Titles and title images are required. Subtitles are heavily encouraged.
Fact-Checking: If you’re presenting any information as factual or referencing studies and research, please be sure to fact-check or cite your sources.
No Promotion or Solicitation: Articles that overtly promote a product, service, or are overly self-promotional will not be accepted. We aim for authentic experiences and genuine information sharing.
Respect & Tolerance: While we encourage a broad spectrum of perspectives on consciousness, any content promoting hate speech, discrimination, or harm will not be accepted.
Formatting: Submit your articles in a clean, easily readable format.
Word Count: While we appreciate both brevity and depth, a good range to aim for is between 500 to 2500 words.
Edits and ownership
We claim no ownership of any of your content. You are free to do with it what you will after publishing.
I prefer not to take liberties with your work. I plan to keep any edits to a minimum.
In conclusion
With all that out of the way, I’m looking forward to reading what you all have to share. Thanks for reading and for your interest in the publication!
