Conquer The Demons Hindering Your Success
Keep the faith and believe in yourself
“There is no success without hardship.” — Socrates
When a person begins any type of business or venture, he starts out with high hopes and big dreams of success. There is no other logical way to embark on what should be an exciting and profitable adventure. Unfortunately, all too often the dreams are shattered and the hope fades if success is slow in coming, which is usually the case. It takes time and a lot of worthwhile action to make your dreams become a successful reality. There will be hardship along the way.
Certain demons may exist which are preventing success from happening to the would-be entrepreneur, traditional business owner, online business person, salesman, photographer, or writer who is working hard but can’t seem to find success. Some of the hindrances to success may be:
• Not enough knowledge about the endeavor
• Not enough time spent on making it happen
• Not enough or not realistic enough goals
• Not enough commitment to the goals set
- Not enough fortitude to make success come
- Not enough faith to keep working toward the goals
It is good advice to follow systems and friends who have been successful. Look to others who may be able to help you find success. Seek help and ask for advice from others. Read all you can.
Don’t fall for scams. Although some business gurus may be selling their products with the promise of easy money with little or no work, those products seldom work. There are some legitimate opportunities, but there are numerous scams being perpetrated as well. A person must study and learn before putting forth the actual “work” of doing the business.
“The only people who are making money the easy way either work in the mint or are on their way to jail, if they have not already arrived there.” [Bob Proctor]
It takes determination and fortitude to make any business work out well. Smart and hard work along with dedication must be exercised. Persistence and perseverance are key elements. It can’t be a matter of just giving it a try, finding it is too difficult, and then giving up too quickly.
Setting realistic and workable goals is important. It has long been stated by experts that goals should be written down and reviewed on a daily basis. Most people do not do this but usually will just have the goals in their mind. They know they should write down their goals but resist doing so. It is okay if they are thought of daily.
During World War II when Japanese Americans were incarcerated in camps, it was difficult to keep their dreams alive. They were citizens of the United States who were treated poorly simply for their ethnic heritage. They could find little success in the camps where there was little to do. The children went to school, but the older people found it difficult to find meaningful things to occupy their time.
They had lost their jobs and homes. They needed to keep hope alive for a better future in order to later find success, which many of them did because they had faith that things would get better for them someday. They persevered and worked hard.
Winning at anything means having the right tools to make it happen. Learning all you can about your venture must be a first priority. Study and research help to make an informed person. It all takes time, and it does not happen overnight. There will be obstacles along the way. Conquering the demons will help a person to find success and to feel good about the process. Then good results will likely appear.
Persevere and remember your goals. Work hard and work smart. Keep striving for success. Don’t give up too soon. Do something great. Keep the faith and believe in yourself.
