Connecting

Being part of a whole

Prompt 8, offered by Jason Edmunds, inspired me on the theme of connectedness.

Whether inside of us, or among ourselves and others, the theme regarding interconnectedness is something I absolutely have into my priorities.

The image reminds me of a neuron with its cell body containing the nucleus, and all its extensions, the axon and the dendrites. Ah, those gorgeous filaments gifting us the chance of connecting one neuron to the other, one body with all the components.

On a larger scale, can we imagine a similar structure pervading the Universe, and connecting each one of us to the rest of the living creatures (and the non-living)?

Fritjof Capra called it the Web of Life, creating a link between quantum physics and spirituality. In my less original and a bit provocative thinking, this is what I long ago elaborated.

The concept of an interconnecting Universe also invites me to try not isolate myself from the rest of humanity, whatever the appealing reason could be.

Writing on Medium is for sure an experience supporting me in this voyage of openness, connection, and public reflection about whatever I like to express. Hopefully, my reading friends will keep reaching out in this amazing adventure. Stay connected!
