Confronting The Ebbs & Flows Of Life 🕊

Photo by Shubhankar Bhowmick on Unsplash

Writing gives me the ability to process my feelings about major life events, like the deaths of loved ones.

Since the passing of so many loved ones in only a few years, life and death have been lingering topics in my mind. I have not really shared these thoughts with anyone because I am still processing my feelings about life and death.

The holidays have brought on this strong feeling for me to share what I am learning about life and death during a period of so much uncertainty.

I am taking this time to release these feelings as they come up in my mind so I can fully embrace the life that I have.

There are moments when I need to allow, rest, and reflect. In other words, surrender to the ebbs and flows of life. In these moments, I learn so much about myself and life in general.

Our perceptions shape our real-life experiences, so I am eager to learn about other people’s life experiences.

Would it be comforting to view death as not the end of life but the beginning of another life?

Would it be comforting to know your loved one can live on through you?

Would it be comforting to know that you can surround yourself with people and things that remind you of them?

Would it be comforting to know that your loved one can communicate with you through signs?

Would it be comforting to know your loved one can visit you in your dreams?

Would it be comforting to know that your life is worth living to the fullest?

These questions came to mind as I was reflecting on life and death.

I choose to view life and death as not separate things but part of the human experience, and I find comfort in that.

Thanks for taking the time to read my current thoughts on life and death in this period of so much uncertainty.
