Condition of Ummah and Weeds in the Garden:

Just because something looks good doesn’t mean it's beneficial. They say If you judge from appearances you will be often mistaken.

Some years ago I had no clue about this. As soon as spring started, I would notice people removing these yellow little beautiful flowers (according to me). I always wondered why because they look so pretty, especially on green grass. But then I realized that not only that they cause allergies but in actuality they are sucking away the nutrients from the grass. So if you want good healthy grass, these must be removed. If you don't do it at the start of the spring, it becomes harder and harder.

The condition of the Ummah is so similar to the garden where weeds are sucking the energy which should primarily be spent on the establishment of a political entity, a vital issue for this Ummah.

We see the majority of movements/scholarships have occupied themselves with recommendations to a point where they have no time/motivation left for the obligation.

We see 95% of people are working on basics either they are calling non-muslim to Islam or teaching basics to kids. How many people are actually working to re-establish the Khilafah? This is the neglected obligation. It doesn’t even make it to their list of priorities. If someone says some people are doing it, that’s ok But not enough are doing it. From the outside, this all looks great like weeds in the garden but in actuality not only that building Masajid, Islamic Schools, and other institutions of such sort, have never been saved the cause of the Muslims in the past but on top, it creates an energy drain. These things are important and have good to it just like beneficial weeds which can accomplish a number of roles in the garden or yard, including fertilizing the soil, increasing moisture, acting as shelter or living mulch, repelling pests, attracting beneficial insects, or serving as food or other resources for human beings.

If half of the people who are working to teach the basics were focused on the fard of khilafa (Nasr is with Allah) we should have had Khilafah by now. So establishing khilafa is fard for everyone. Khilafah is our issue and everyone is getting affected by that.

Our children are raised in un-islamic society, Muslims are killed all over the Muslim world, people are losing their deen left right, and the center raised with very poor understanding of deen, and we are divided based on nationalism. All this is due to the absence of Khilafah and you will teach your kid tajweed? Yes, do that but you think by teaching tajweed problem is solved. No, you are abandoning the solution and focusing on a side issue. You want to go and teach other people then you go and find a way to schedule that but your priorities are the obligations and the secondary thing is the mustahab.

The classical scholar of Islam, Imam ibn al-Qayyim Rahim Ullah said:

Shaytan has misled most people by beautifying for them the performance of certain voluntary acts of worship such as voluntary prayer and voluntary fasting while neglecting other obligatory acts of worship such as enjoining the good and forbidding the evil, to the extent that they do not even make the intention of performing them…For the essence of our religion is to perform what Allah ordered us to do…Indeed, what Deen and what good is there in a person who witnesses the sanctities of Allah being violated, His Hudood not applied, his religion abandoned, the Sunnah of His Messenger ﷺ shunned, and yet remains still with a cold heart and a silent tongue, like a silent devil. Such people, besides being despised by Allah swt, have been afflicted by the worst disease, namely the death of their hearts…!
