Commit to Believing in Yourself
No one else does.
Woe to the one who deems himself incapable of actualizing his wildest dreams.
Maybe you have to believe in yourself for no other reason except that no one else does.
The world is betting against you. Resistance is betting against you.
There are other forces at play that are trying to help, truly help, but you can’t see them.
“…that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then providence moves too…” — William Hutchison Murray
We can only see the things that are stopping us from moving forward.
We have the capability to combat that. The problem is that you may not be aware.
I only aim to wake you up. You’re in limbo, some weird cross between the content of where you are and a deeper longing for where you would like to be.
But the force of Resistance is strong.
The key to beating it is that you have to realize the force of hope, faith, belief in oneself, is much stronger.
Don’t cower from the work it will take. Embrace it.
Know that the forces that want to help you can’t do it for you. They can only hope you are able to help yourself.
Sure, maybe that sounds like a useless ordeal, but at least something in this world is rooting for you. No one else is.
I don’t care what they tell you.
Everyone is too worried about their own problems (and rightfully so in a lot of cases). You have to be your own hero.
No one is coming to save you. They only watch.
What will they see?
“Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.” (Mark 11:23, NIV)
