Six Word Photo Story: Freestyle

Nature brings comfort to painful moments.

I recently went to Thailand for a vacation. We first went to Phuket, where there were beautiful beaches.

The tour operator wanted to show us Phi Phi Island as well which was considered to be very scenic and beautiful.

We had to leave by 8 AM to reach in time to enjoy ourselves and have lunch there.

So forty of us rushed our breakfast and were on time for the bus. Thailand being a tropical country, has only two seasons — -

- Rainy and summer season.

It suddenly started pouring, and the local guide with us delayed the bus as we had to catch the speed motor boat and it would not be possible to catch it in the rain.

In 20 minutes, it cleared up because the rain comes and suddenly stops. It is not a long-term relationship.

  • The rain simply vanishes after a while, and the sun begins to smile.

We reached the speed motor boat, and the first thing we were told was-

  • The sea is rough today

I had a light breakfast so I thought it was fine.

Sitting in the motor boat and speeding through it just made us fly all the time and move out of our seats.

I tried to look out but felt dizzy or tizzy, I do not know. The hot sun came piercing in, and all of us in our sun shades were feeling alright.

Suddenly a wave almost overturned the boat, and it came back into position.

This was enough for me.

  • I began to feel sick. Tears started flowing from my usually dry eyes.
  • I began to throw up the salty sea water that I had gulped.
  • The boat assistant handed me a black bag falling down twice on the boat.
  • One fellow traveler from our group handed me an Avomine with water.
  • I did not retain anything and felt very sick.
  • Someone offered me his shoulder. So caring, I thought, but there was no comfort.

Suddenly the water became calm, and I looked up and saw the bright blue sky with some patchy grey clouds and the pure greenish blue sea below, and the beautiful rocks on the sides, some of which were coral reefs as well.

I began to smile.

The bright Blue Sky with the Clouds and the Clear Blue Sea and the Big Rocks brought comfort, and I forgot how sick I had been
