Comfort in Isolation
A poem

A roaring thunder extends a lifeline of light and damning warmth towards everything the waves chased away
The path of absolving acquiescence is now illuminated through the crystals that flow from your tired eyes
Diving deep down in your lonely voice another thunder breaks you apart and carries away a brittle lament
Seeking a new path to greatness for a life fulfilled by echoes and a story hidden under rocks
You need to find rest now as this merciless battle rages on the rooftops of the darkened towers
Accept your blinding comfort in isolation and sink in the derelict mattress of the past you forcefully forgot
For a better tomorrow
