Come to Edith
A Poem
Come to the pale blue river that runs through her crevices
Come to the paper-thin skin laced with spicules all over
She waits for you with a faint smile her onyx heart wrapped in green gauze
Her trellises bear dead climbers — from a time, she was just her eyes from a time, he was just her mirage
“Come to Edith”, a voice covered in moss travels in circles, around her swollen throat
She is planted in rainwater, since then her tears are nothing but mist — She is looking for you Grace, her child — in the forest of delusion, she has become
