HELPFUL WRITING RESOURCE
Come Join this Team of Writers and Promote Your FORMER Stories!
Do you have a few stories to remind your readers about?

For those writers on Medium who haven’t heard about the Just Like New (JLN) publication, allow me to remind you about the editor’s objective.
I’m Justiss Goode— a prolific writer who has been writing on Medium and offering writing advice for over a year.
During that time, I’ve published over 1,000 stories, and started several publications, including my JLN publication, where I accept submissions.
This publication is devoted exclusively to promoting previously published stories.
If you’re considering how this could offer a great advantage for writers with lots of older stories; you’re absolutely right.
And you’re not the only one who gets it…
These JLN writers reminded readers about their stories
Clearly, the writers who currently submit to the JLN publication, understand the value of this useful writing resource.
Allow me to take a few minutes and share who some of those writers are.
This is a list of the stories that were submitted this month (February 2023) by JLN writers.
Hopefully, by publishing the highlights from former stories, they’ll get a chance to have readers revisit those previous titles.
These writers want you to benefit from helpful stories that you might have missed the first time around.
For example:
I think it is really fitting, that the first title I want to share, is: A Writer Writes … and Reads, written by Medium writer Angie Mangino.
Angie does a splendid job of drawing attention to her previously published story, which goes into detail on why writing and reading go together.
But remember not to simply just stop and read Angie’s JLN submission. Pay close attention to why she thinks you can benefit from her original story.
If you agree with her evaluation, then make a point to pay the story a visit.
Other JLN stories from Angie this month include:

Final Thoughts
For anyone who hasn’t already requested to be a writer and submit to JLN, consider this as your personal invitation.
This publication is all about self promotion. I want writers to take advantage of the chance to highlight stories that are already published.
NOTE:
I have no problem providing writers with an additional opportunity to promote their former stories,
BUT…
Please remember to READ and stay within the Just Like New submission guidelines.
I’m pretty sure that everyone has one, two, or more stories that they want to remind their readers about.
Now’s your chance to draw attention to the stories that matter to you the most. And be sure to use the following tips before submitting your stories.
TIPS:
- Remember that every JLN submission has one PRIMARY function: To highlight the benefits of reading ONE of your previously published titles.
- Use words, phrases, and quotes from the story you’re trying to promote, and show readers why the story has value.
- Don’t just provide the title and link to the story. Remember to ask — tell — or suggest that readers go check the story out.
Thanks for reading…
