Collectively Dreaming
Drabble (100 word story)
The weekly meeting was called to order. They sat around in a circle to discuss their latest dream. The same dream, collectively.
“The sky was bright blue, white clouds hovered over a green pasture…” began one member.
“And strange creatures roamed in the field…” stated another.
“They’re one race, but some are yellow-haired, some black-haired, and others red-haired…” a third surmised.
“And their eyes! blue, green, brown! Strangest things I’ve ever seen,” a fourth declared.
Everyone nodded with their silvery heads. They stood up, walked across the crystal ground and looked up at the violet sky with their yellow eyes.
