Some of those things are:
- A holistic strategy: you need to have a holistic and an all encompassing strategy, which is well conencted because doing just disjoint proof of concepts kind of projects would not bring the fruits to home.
2. Cultural transformation: very much important , you need to change your organisation culture to become fully data driven.
3. A new or renewed information architecture: an old information architecture landscape does not really support AI based innovation. adapt your information architecture to cater for the needs of AI based innovations.
4. Ecosystem: Build an ecosystem across your enterprise, leverage best of the abilities of the service, platform and skills providers. Grow things in your own garden, where you feel that you have best talent and skills but do keep an eye on what is going on in the market.
5. Shared ownership among all the stakeholders: This is of two types, one internal to the organization: make sure everybody is involved and onboard. And the second one is external to your business and it includes Government, citizens, industry and academia. Watch out, what others are doing and leverage the best where possible.
6. Collaborative intelligence: AI and humans must be working together utilizing their strengths and compensating for the weaknesses of one another.
AI and other advance technologies must be considered as revenue generators and not as cost basis.
Once the above considerations are taken care of, and organisation start to adopt the new technologies, they will benefit from having
a. lower operational risk
b. more profit efficiency
c. faster response time: your complaints will be resolved faster.
d. Well informed business decision making: new CEO could consider predecessor’s choices when making his own decisions thanks to the power given by the data.
e. Less exposure to failures.
f. Pattern identification through help of AI: So that you could offer customised and personalised services
g. Human can focus more on startegic aspects on repetitive tasks can be transfered to robots/cobots. Emotional sensation related taskes could be handled by humans and not the robots.
