100% white or maybe a little American Indian and a little French, but why does that matter? Why does color have to matter? <- I came from all of this and I’m dark like an American Indian.

First Marriage <- Don’t Judge

I married my second wife <- Don’t judge me… My first wife was an amazing lady and still is, she is a great mom to our daughter and I don’t regret anything about us. We tried to mend the relationship, but it all has worked out to an extent.

Yes, I only get to see my amazing daughter every two weeks, but my ex-wife found a great man that she loves and that I know is taking care of my daughter when I’m not around.

My Current Wife and the love of my life

Back to my second wife — she is Filipino and some Chinese, she is dark and has some English-speaking issues, but I wouldn’t trade her for the world. She is the kindest and most loving lady you have ever met, yes she can have a little fire at times, but doesn’t everyone. I love her more than anything in this world no matter her race.

My Son — Elijah Ledford

And now we have had a son, he is amazing as well. Loving and caring as his parents are. I just know he will become the man that we will support through thick and thin. Here is a picture of this amazing young man…

Some of the things that Colin talks about and goes through, I couldn’t imagine my son having to go through that kind of stuff and I would support him 100% for standing up for anything that he believes in, cause for God’s sake he is my Son.

Kneeling during our Countries Anthem

When I first saw it, I thought this was a little much, I mean it’s our country that men and women die for every day. But, after watching this film I feel a lot different and am looking at it in a whole new light.

I judged him for doing that during that game and it’s not my place or anyone else’s place to judge someone in a free country or any time for standing up for what they believe is right.

Closing thoughts

I said above that “Men and Women died for our country” but and this is a big but… How many people died due to racism? Colin is kneeling for those that have died unjustly and I will support him in whatever he decides to do from here on out because it’s his right as an American to do so.

I hope that this post has opened your eyes in some way and please go watch Collin Black and White on Netflix, it’s only six episodes and well worth your time. Colin has some great points and really opens my mind up to my life in a whole new way.

I realize that this may rub some wrong, but I’m not sorry for writing what my heart is telling me to write. I will choose to love all people no matter your race, color, gender, or sexuality. (It’s not my place to Judge anyone.)

Colin Black and White is a series that everyone should watch. It’s time for a change. Will you join me? If you have never joined Netflix, you can join for free for a short amount of time, to watch this. > (Colin in Black & White)
