Deja Vu at Paper Poetry

Clouds of Confusion

Brain fog. Isn’t it the pits when you feel like your head is packed full of sludge-soaked cotton wool?

There’s been a lot of talk about brain fog of late as it’s one of the most reported symptoms of long-Covid. Is there no end to the pandemic?

I wrote this micropoem in the form of a senryu but more importantly, I wrote it for Déjà Vu at Paper Poetry — specifically, in response to Suntonu Bhadra’s Week 4 prompt: cloud.

Everyone is invited to join the 14-day~14-prompt rerun event. You can read all about it here —

Looking forward to hearing from — Kimberly Hampton Nilsson | Monoreena Acharjee Majumdar | Deirdre Dimancesco | Jaylee Reign | Margie Willis 🙏 ✨

Please enjoy these Déjà Vu treats —

A butterfly etheree from Thalia Dunn, Fluttering By

A marbled gray tanka from Gina Kimmel, Cloud Cover

And a found poem from me, A Tribute to Thich Nhat Hanh

Thank you all for reading. 🙏 💕
