Chugging Out of 2023 With an Incredible Train Journey

We ended 2023 on an incredible train journey across the Messina Strait, connecting Sicily and mainland Italy. The Messina Coast is its best kept secret.

The amazing thing is not the incredible views on the journey. It is what happens at Messina. Here, they cut the train into two halves and put it in a ferry. The train is then transported over the Mediterranean Sea in a giant boat to San Giovanni, where it is reassembled. You can even walk onto the deck to catch an incredible view of the crossing.

Man today has the engineering capability to cut a train full of passengers into two parts, transport it over the sea, and then reassemble it. All done seamlessly, while the passengers enjoy the ride.
