Chronicles Of A Cucumber Plant

#poem

The soil was good where I planted you I watered you daily and fed you too You were growing so quickly it was insane You would have taken over if you had no restrain

It made me so happy to see your beauty To look after you, it was my duty Each day you were growing more and more But one day, the aphids of you took hold

I fed you and cleaned you ever zealously I was not giving up on you so easily No matter what I did, the bugs wouldn’t leave Then they spread all over my trees

No knowing the way to fix the pest I sprayed and sprayed every which way The slugs also came amongst other things All they wanted was to eat all your leaves

One day I found you chewed down to the root I grew desperately not finding a way But I knew that my fruit trees I had to save You were the magnet, and so I killed you instead
