Christmas Magic: Take Time for Deep Rest and Recovery
The Christmas season is an opportunity to recharge.

I had the experience to go on a “Polar Express” experience last night with my kids.
I admit it was hard to step away from work as several projects needed my attention, but we had tickets, so I went.
The memories I made with them, however, are priceless to me.
Making time for deep rest and relaxation helps us in so many ways:
1. Relaxation and Fun is what Makes Life Colorful
We need not suffer through life for the first several decades of work only to have fun once we’ve retired. My kids will never be this age again, and I can be there for them to make these Christmas memories.
2. Relaxation Helps Boost Productivity
I began work this morning full of momentum because of the fun and relaxation I had yesterday with my family. I am feeling recharged and ready to go.
3. Relaxation Prevents Burnout
We are not robots who can perform the same task over and over again without fail. Humans need a change of pace every once in a while. The holiday season is the perfect excuse to switch things up and enjoy being human.
Final Thoughts
I hope you take time in the coming weeks to enjoy time with family and make memories. Memories will bless you with dividends of happiness for the rest of your lives.
Enjoy the now.
Your personal and professional life will improve because of it.
Hey everyone, I know my article today is shorter than usual. I am working on an exciting new writing project that will take away time from these articles. I plan to continue to post here regularly, but the daily cadence will not be sustainable while working on this project. Thanks for understanding! What I’m working on will be so worth it! I’ll give you more info soon. — Alma Thurber
