Yay! It’s December everyone!

And for us here in Australia, where it’s officially summer, the feijoa trees in my neighbourhood are in full bloom. Who needs Christmas store-bought decorations when nature provides them for free?! 😃

I took the photo while I was out yesterday on an early morning walk. The light was perfect and the air was sweet. I could smell Christmas. Yes, it is decidedly December.

And joy-o-joy, that’s exactly what Indubala Kachhawa has called Paper Poetry’s month-long prompt for December — Decidedly December!

Please come and join us this month for the prompt. We want this one to be super special. Spill your hearts onto the page and tell us in your own unique way what December means to you. You’ll find the prompt details here —

I’m calling on a few of our Paper Poetry friends to come join us — Toni Crowe | Thalia Dunn | James G Brennan | Somsubhra Banerjee | Paroma Sen — and everyone else too — the more the merrier! ✨🙏 ✨

Thank you so much for being here. 🙏 💕
