Here is my response to the first challenge!

As Yule approached, snow sprinkled the ground. Many a snowman could be found. Wrapped in knitted scarves and carrots for noses, They are all set in wildly different poses.

Inside a cottage, a fireplace is lit. On a cosy sofa, a young couple sit. Rekindling a love that came in from the cold, This time a new story will be told.

Hot chocolate warms their bellies aglow, Outside the streets are blankets of snow. Under the mistletoe, the sweet couple kissed. To make up for all the Christmases long ago they had missed.
