Christians Are Using The Super Bowl To Spread Hate

For millennia, Christians have used the governments and the secular cultures surrounding them to manipulate people. It’s how we got holidays like Christmas and Easter. They were pagan celebrations originally. By making them Christian celebrations as well, they were able to convince a lot of pagans to convert to Christianity.
So it’s no surprise really that a Christian organization decided to promote Christianity through the Super Bowl in a commercial that at first appears to speak of kindness and love.
While the message seems positive, at first glance, if you look into it any deeper, the whole thing falls apart.
The problem with most Christians is that they don’t even know what love is to begin with. That’s where the phrase, “There’s no hate like Christian love” comes from. So them claiming to love their neighbors means nothing.
If you actually analyze the photos from the commercial, you realize that rather than coming from a place of love, they’re spreading a conservative hateful message instead.
Who is the holy person in every picture doing the foot washing? A white Christian person generally.
And who are the ones needing their feet washed? Because they’re dirty and need the love of Jesus to fix them?
There’s a black man getting his feet washed by a police man as if the police are humble servants of Christ who never shoot and kill for racist reasons. There’s a cowboy washing the feet of an indigenous man as if white European Americans didn’t try to genocide them all. There’s a woman at an abortion clinic seeking an abortion getting her feet washed. There’s an environmental activist getting her feet washed. A Muslim woman getting her feet washed and more.
These are all people conservative Christians have othered and discriminated against. And the heroes are the white people and police men.
And you might say, “Maybe this commercial is trying to say that all that hate in Christianity was bad. Maybe they’re trying to spread love through Jesus after all.”
That would make sense if the people who made the commercial weren’t the Servant Foundation, an organization that has openly donated $65 million to the Alliance Defending Freedom.
The ADF has been using Christian lawyers to create discriminatory bills against women and their abortion rights and LGBT people. They’ve been trying to create a theocracy ruled by conservative Christianity in America for years.
This is why people don’t trust Christians or Christian “love.” This is why the problem is the entire organization and not just bad experiences with individuals.
Because most Christians claim to be full of “God’s love” for everyone, while also having a knife behind their back that they’re ready to stab any oppressed group with.
Minorities, women, and LGBTQ people don’t need their feet washed. They don’t need to be treated like they’re lesser than or that they need forgiveness. It’s not mercy or kindness to look down on someone patronizingly who has done nothing wrong and tell them you love them anyway even though they’re a bad person.
What those groups need is their rights respected and protected. They need real love and equality in society. Saying they need foot washing is absolutely clueless and shows that the people who made the commercial have no idea the problems society is actually facing or how looking down on people isn’t loving.
Christians always find a way to wrap the shit they offer to the world in pretty wrapping paper so they can yell at you and accuse you of being hateful when you say you don’t like the pile of shit they offered you, no matter how pretty it has been dressed up.
This commercial is a perfect example of that.
And how angry many Christian are getting at the idea of loving people that conservatives hate, like on this Tiktok. It shows the reality of where the heart of Christianity lies today. They don’t love or accept anyone. They want to condemn the world and force all to fall in line with their belief system or face an isolated life of being discriminated against and ostracized.
