AbrachamChrist, the Fullness of Revelation and the Meaning of History.
In Christ, the promises and prophecies of the Old Testament are fulfilled. The covenant made with Abraham and spoken by the prophets become a complete reality in Jesus. Although some promises regarding Abraham’s offspring or deliverance from slavery were realized earlier, universal salvation becomes possible only through Christ. He establishes a new covenant, fulfilling the law and introducing true freedom.

In Christ both the Promise and the Law reach their perfection. The Old Law was only a preview of the new one that can lead people to justice. Christ not only taught about love and justice, but also provided grace and power to implement them. Through his actions and teaching, Jesus fulfilled prophecies, becoming the perfect Prophet. His words not only conveyed divine truth, but he himself was the source of this truth, being Truth personified.
Finally, Christ contains the fullness of time — both quantitatively, as the fulfillment of expectation, and qualitatively, as the eschatological moment. His Incarnation marks not only the beginning of his public activity, but also the culmination of human history. Christ is not only one of many prophets, but also God himself, who becomes present in human time, giving it a transcendent meaning. His life, death and resurrection have an eternal value that is present in the life of the Church and constitutes the foundation of all human history.
The fullness of time is contained in Christ — both quantitatively, as the fulfillment of expectation, and qualitatively, as the eschatological moment.
His teachings and deeds not only refer to the past, but are current and present in our daily lives. His presence in the Church is a continuation of His mission, and the expectation of His second coming, the Parousia, is the foundation of hope for humanity.
Christ, as the fullness of God’s Revelation, indicates that in Him there is the answer to all human questions and needs. His love, grace and truth are infinitely available to all who turn to Him. In Jesus we find not only salvation, but also the meaning and purpose of our existence.

Therefore, the end of history does not mean an end, but a new beginning in Christ. It is in Him that we find the foundation of our hope, strength in our difficulties and light in our darkness. His presence in our lives becomes a source of constant joy, peace and fullness of life.
