China’s Military Scandal
According to reporting by Bloomberg, China is experiencing a massive military scandal due to internal corruption, which could be, on a similar scale, to the corruption affecting the Russian Federation’s military for its disastrous invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.
In the case of the Russians, they didn’t have enough fuel and equipment to invade the nation of Ukraine, which meant its military, which invaded northern Ukraine, had to withdraw from the outskirts of Kyiv back into the puppet state of Belarus.
Now, the Chinese are experiencing the same issues.
Which means China can’t wage war either on the offensive or defensive, and if it finds itself in a war, it would be unable to fight at least straight away.
The current president, Xi Jinping, has been fighting an anti-corruption campaign within Chinese government institutions since he came to power in 2013. Xi Jinping has targeted all of the other institutions in China.
Now, President Xi is targeting the military, which could be why this massive military scandal has been brought to light.
Suppose the leader of communist China had made his moves straightaway targeting the military.
In that case, it is possible that President Xi would have been forcefully removed by the Chinese Liberation Army.
Or, an even worse case scenario, it could have through China into a state of civil war because historically, when collapses of central authority happens it can happen quickly, and it can be incredibly bloody.
Through China’s long and bloody history of over 2000 years regarding the history of United China, it spent most of its history being divided or ruled by foreigners who conquered the nation.
The scandal is so severe that Chinese missile silos are filled with water instead of fuel, and according to geopolitical analyst Peter Zilhen, missile silos are incapable of opening or closing their domes and that at least potentially 1/3 of the procurement budget of military equipment has just been stolen.
Corruption is still horrendous, and this activity should have been noticed.
President Xi has much rot that must be removed from the Chinese political system.
It’s also crucial that you, the reader, be aware that Xi will not target corruption for purely altruistic reasons but also he is removing any opposition or powerbase within China that threatens Xi.
