Cheezy Sauce
Easy, healthy, delicious.

A wonderful cheese alternative that’s full of flavor — and delicious in its own right. It’s creamy, plant-based, and offers so many possibilities. If you’ve never tried cheezy sauce, you’re in for a surprise.
Ingredients
- 2 chopped unpeeled yellow potatoes
- 1/2 cup diced carrot
- 2/3 cup diced onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 cup unsalted cashews
- 1–1/2 cups vegetable broth
- 1/2 cup unsweetened plant milk
- 1 tsp salt or to taste
- 1 tsp onion and garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Sprinkle of cayenne
- black pepper to taste
Directions
- Place potatoes, carrots, onions, garlic, cashews, and broth in a medium-sized pan. Bring to boil. Simmer until softened.
- Place vegetables and cooking liquid in blender.
- Add remaining ingredients.
- Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Adjust seasonings.
Notes
- Pour over pasta, potatoes, cauliflower, asparagus, broccoli, or use in cheezy type soups.
