Cheers Mate

To quench one’s thirst, an elixir of temptation

A dry croak of help, release can I please, process some ease would the breeze that runs, the calm of heaven that swiftly flees the slow, slippery words that spread, on your lips as I undressed, my eyes that dropped the veil once shed for you who stands in my heart, duress makes haste

Can I please, have something to drink? A glass of wine, or water perhaps served by you, for which I thirst endlessly, running at my wit's end love how though, cannot be unsung confessions that last the test of time

Innocence, that speaks of love affections, longing detail towards your memory is enthralling, as well for I demand, and you rush for my stead though how hard, it might become I’ll wait for the drops, that cleanse my soul

When you bring forth the bottle of rum the one you made, through your hands my love perhaps it’ll sink and I’d savor it with joy the fragrance, of your scent — thick as our bond, the sweetest of taste

Thank you so much for reading.
