Ipoh is known as food heaven. Many foodies travel far and wide, just to enjoy all the wonderful delicacies in Ipoh! I’m one of them. I gain at least 5 pounds every time I’m there! 🤤

Have a craving for that hot piping bowl of 🍜 Chicken Noodle Hor Fun? Looking for the perfect roti to stop your mouth from watering? Well, you can get that in Ipoh. Before you go running out 🏃🏻‍♂️ and screaming “TAKE MY MONEY” at the top of your lungs, take note of this first.

In Ipoh, you can’t just say you want to eat wonton mee and go to any old hawker stall you see.

You need to know which ones to go to! To be honest, there are a ton of wonton mee stalls in Ipoh. You might be tempted to stop by the one closest to you. STOP! ✋🏻🛑 The thing is, they don’t all taste good!

If you want good food, you have to go to the right places.

How do you know which stall to go to?

Well, if you see a huge line-up, it’s a pretty good sign that the food there is top notch. 😆 Otherwise, you’ll might need to go through word of mouth or recommendations by people who have been there! If you can get someone local to take you there, it’s even better.
