If you’ve never heard of a Stream Deck, here’s a brief introduction. Elgato’s Stream Deck is a valuable device for streamers that includes multiple programmable buttons which can perform various tasks.

The buttons have small screens built in so that the user can easily use whatever graphic they want to easily distinguish the tasks. These buttons can be programmed to do various things, such as the following.

  • Control lighting effects
  • Control sound/volume
  • Change your stream scene
  • Control your screen capture

Although the original Stream Deck is a fantastic device, a few competitors have released similar devices with a few additional features, such as macro compatibility on various devices.

But now Elgato has announced their newest addition called the Elgato Stream Deck +. This new device comes with more buttons as well as tactile knobs and a touchscreen.

The buttons can perform the same tasks it was previously able to. Although the new touchscreen can easily adjust different variable tasks and has multiple pages, users can swipe through. You can even see dial information at a simple glance via the touchscreen display.

The new additional knobs can control things like camera zoom, volume, brightness, or anything else the user can think of.

Elgato showed off various different profiles users can create in order to construct the perfect setup for anyone's needs.
