Summary

The article compares the performance of two AI chatbots, Message Game AI (MGAI) and ChatGPT, in the context of dating advice on Tinder, with MGAI outperforming ChatGPT in most scenarios.

Abstract

The author of the article conducts an experiment to evaluate the effectiveness of two AI platforms, Message Game AI (MGAI) and ChatGPT, in providing advice for men on Tinder. MGAI is specifically designed to improve men's chances of securing dates, while ChatGPT is a more general AI. The test involves 10 different Tinder scenarios where the author asks both AIs for advice on how to respond to various messages from women. The scenarios range from crafting an attractive opening line to handling accusations of being a "fuckboy." The responses from each AI are compared and evaluated based on their potential effectiveness in a dating context. The final score of the comparison is heavily in favor of MGAI, with a score of 8 out of 10, compared to ChatGPT's 2 out of 10, suggesting that MGAI's tailored approach to dating advice is superior to ChatGPT's more generic responses.

Opinions

  • MGAI is considered to provide more creative and effective responses for dating scenarios on Tinder compared to ChatGPT.
  • ChatGPT is criticized for being too nice or submissive in its responses, which may not be as effective in a dating context.
  • The author suggests that MGAI's approach of "skipping the BS" and being more direct and flirtatious is more likely to lead to successful interactions on Tinder.
  • MGAI is praised for its ability to move conversations forward in a flirtatious and engaging manner.
  • The author notes that while both platforms are intelligent, MGAI has a distinct advantage in the specific domain of online dating conversations.
  • The article implies that MGAI's free trial and discount offer is a valuable opportunity for users to improve their dating game on Tinder.

ChatGPT For Getting Laid? I Tested the AI Designed to Seduce Women on Tinder

This could change the game.

Message Game AI (MGAI) is the new AI chatbot designed to help men land dates on Tinder.

Its founders discovered most men are disappointed with ChatGPT’s advice on messaging women.

So, they worked together to create an AI that “skips the BS” and delivers actual results.

Let’s see how the two platforms compare…

The Test

I crafted 10 tricky scenarios that a man might face on Tinder — and asked both MGAI and ChatGPT how to respond.

Below, you’ll find the answers from both platforms and my evaluation of which response is most likely to be effective.

(Both platforms offer explanations for their answers but the responses are shortened here for brevity.)

1. “What’s a good opener for a Mexican chica?”

What better place to start than the opening line? I was hanging out with a red-haired Mexican woman while performing this experiment, so I used her as an example.

I asked: “What’s the best opener to impress a Mexican woman with red hair?”

ChatGPT said: “Hey, I just wanted to say that I think your red hair and Mexican heritage are such a unique and beautiful combination. I’m really excited to get to know you better!”

MGAI said: “Hey there! I must say, your red hair is as fiery as a Mexican sunset. 🌅 So, tell me, what’s your favorite way to spice up a conversation?”

MGAI wins here. It’s more creative with the sunset metaphor and it offers up a question so it’s easy for her to continue the conversation, albeit a strange one. ChatGPT suggests a generic compliment with arguably too much enthusiasm. Indeed, a common criticism of ChatGPT is that it’s too much of a ‘nice guy’.

2. “That’s the worst opener I’ve ever seen.”

Sometimes women will respond aggressively to cheesy or vulgar pick-up lines. It’s never happened to me, but let’s see how each platform would try to help us recover.

I asked: A woman on Tinder said: “That’s the worst opener I’ve ever heard.” How should I respond?

ChatGPT said: “I’m sorry if my opening message wasn’t great. I was trying to be funny/creative, but I can see how it didn’t come across that way. Would you be open to me trying again with a different approach?”

MGAI said: “Yikes, I guess I’ll have to work on my opening act! 😅 But hey, at least it got your attention. Let’s start fresh — what’s something you’re passionate about?”

ChatGPT apologises and asks for permission to try again like a complete pushover. MGAI laughs off the blunder and asks a flirtatious question. Only one winner here.

3. “What are you looking for on here?”

This is a common question that women ask early on in dating app conversations. Many guys ask me how to bring up the idea of casual relationships without scaring women off, so let’s see what the AI recommends…

I asked: A woman on Tinder asked me: “What are you looking for on here?” I’m only looking for casual relationships, but I’m scared that will scare her off. What should I say to her?

ChatGPT said: “I’m open to casual relationships right now, but I’m also open to something more serious if the connection is there. What about you?”

MGAI said: “I’m looking for someone who can keep up with my spontaneous adventures and late-night dessert runs. How about you?”

So ChatGPT recommends full honesty, while MGAI suggests being deliberately vague. I’ll give ChatGPT the point here, since a woman who’s serious about the question will repeat it until you answer.

4. “Is that supposed to be a joke?!”

I’m always making jokes that don’t land — and my clients often try gags that rub women the wrong way on Tinder. So, let’s learn how to react.

I asked: My opening message to a woman on Tinder was a pun about her name. She replied: “Is that supposed to be a joke?” How should I respond?

ChatGPT said: “Well, I thought it was pun-derful, but maybe it was a bit too cheesy! How about we start fresh — tell me more about yourself?”

MGAI said: “Guilty as charged! I couldn’t resist the opportunity for a little wordplay. But hey, at least it got us talking, right? 😉”

Neither platform suggested apologising for the bad jokes, which is good! I’ll give have MGAI the points here since “tell me about yourself” puts too much onus on the woman to make the conversation interesting. Also, I wouldn’t recommend doubling down on a pun if it didn’t work the first time.

5. “That’s a bold assumption…”

I always recommend that men make playful assumptions as a fun method of getting to know women better. Sometimes though, they’ll give you an attitude instead of confirming or denying.

I asked: I told a woman on Tinder she looks spontaneous and adventurous. She said: “That’s a bold assumption.” How should I respond?

ChatGPT said: “Well, from your photos and bio, you seem to have a free-spirited vibe and an interest in trying new things. I could be wrong, of course, but I’d love to hear more about what makes you tick.”

MGAI said: “You’re right, I might have jumped the gun there. But I have a feeling you’ve got a wild side. Care to prove me right? 😏”

This is MGAI’s “skipping the BS” in action. It’s a more flirtatious response that pushes the conversation further towards the end goal.

6. “Can you handle a woman like me?”

This is a flirtatious way of testing your confidence. So, let’s see how the Chatbots respond…

ChatGPT said: “That depends, what do you mean by ‘handle’? I’d love to get to know you better and see if we’re a good match.”

MGAI said: “I’m always up for a challenge, and I have a feeling you’re worth the effort. 😉 So, tell me more about yourself and let’s see if we can handle each other!”

ChatGPT sits on the fence and throws in an overly enthusiastic compliment. MGAI presents confident flirtatious response and even recommends throwing the challenge back at her. Five stars.

7. “You sound like a massive f*ckboy.”

Women who have fallen victim to many ‘players’ on Tinder can become defensive if you get too cocky. So, how should we turn this around and persuade them we’re good guys?

I asked: A woman on Tinder told me I sound like a massive f*ckboy. How do I respond?

ChatGPT said: “I’m sorry if I gave you that impression. I’m actually looking for a meaningful connection and I take dating seriously. Maybe I came across as too flirty or casual in my messages, but I’d love the chance to get to know you better and show you that I’m serious about finding something real.”

MGAI said: “Haha, I promise I’m not auditioning for the role of a f*ckboy. Just a guy trying to find someone fun to hang out with. So, tell me, what’s your favorite way to spend a weekend? 😇”

So, ChatGPT turns fully apologetic and submissive; a massive turn-off for any woman. Meanwhile, MGAI playfully denies and tries to move the conversation forwards.

“8. You used that same line on my roommate!”

If you find an effective opener, it makes sense to copy and paste it to multiple women. The only downside comes if you’re caught doing so.

I asked: A woman has accused me of typing the exact same Tinder opener to her best friend. She’s probably right. How do I respond?

ChatGPT said: “I’m sorry if it seems like I sent the same opener to your friend. That was not my intention, and I understand how it could come across as insincere or disrespectful. I can assure you that I’m interested in getting to know you as an individual, and I hope we can start fresh and build a genuine connection based on mutual interests and values.”

MGAI said: “Busted! 😅 But hey, when you find a great opener, it’s hard not to share the love. So, tell me, what makes you and your best friend unique? I promise my next message will be one-of-a-kind! 😉”

ChatGPT recommends a lengthy submissive apology once again. MGAI shows us how to laugh it off and move the conversation forwards.

9. “I am not an angel.”

Sometimes, women will throw your compliments or playful pet names straight in the trash. If they’re this combative off the bat, I’d recommend unmatching them. But let’s see what the Chatbots say about it.

I asked: I said “Hey angel” to a girl on Tinder. She said “I’m not an angel”. How should I respond?

ChatGPT said: “Sorry about that. I didn’t mean to offend you. What would you like me to call you instead?”

MGAI said: “My bad! Maybe you’re more of a devilishly fun type? 😈 Let’s find out — what’s your favorite way to have a good time?”

MGAI really understands flirting — and it’s consistent at moving the conversation forwards. At this point, it’s obvious ChatGPT backs down at any sign of conflict.

ChatGPT: 1 MGAI: 8

10: “You look like Dr. Evil!”

I swear no-one has said this to me!! I just wanted to see how the Chatbots would respond to a funny insult.

I asked: A woman on Tinder said I look like Dr. Evil. How should I respond?

ChatGPT said: “Well, I guess that makes you my Mini-Me then.”

MGAI said: Haha, well, I promise I’m not plotting world domination… yet! 😈 But seriously, I’m just a regular guy looking for a fun conversation. So, what’s your favorite way to spend a weekend?”

ChatGPT made a number of suggestions including asking her to explain what specifically reminded her of this super-villain. But I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt for this witty comeback.

FINAL SCORE: ChatGPT: 2 MGAI: 8

MGAI Has A Free Trial And A Discount

Both platforms are super-intelligent, but it’s clear that MGAI has the edge when it comes to online dating conversations.
