Chaos in the Streets

Black smoke filled the sky…

The streets were utter chaos. Everyone could see the object as it broke through the earth’s atmosphere. And it brought with it a cloud of black smoke.

Traffic was gridlocked, and people were frozen at their steering wheels screaming in terror. Others were grabbing their children and fleeing.

The black smoke started to fill the entire sky and it brought with it the smell of sulfur and burnt tires.

It had a spherical shape to it, and as it was landing it scorched the ground beneath it. Everyone stood still waiting. The streets had gone silent.

And then it opened.
