Stop Checking Your Statistics

Write from your heart and your words will touch my heart.

Kalla Lily has been my favorite flower since my childhood. When I grew up for every occasion I asked for this beautiful and elegant flower. I first started seeing colored Kalla Lilies about 10 years ago. I was amazed by the beauty of the colors they brought. I enjoyed the white ones for most of my life and now it is a gift to find the amazing colored ones.

You might ask how this related to writing and not checking your statistics. Well, it does. I have been seeing a lot of articles that focus on statistics and money. I also have been seeing a lot of articles focusing on how you can use AI to write more and write faster and make more money.

I look at writing as a creative art form. Bringing knowledge and beauty to the world. Sharing stories of joy with creative poetry and storytelling.

I wrote an article as well when I was comparing Newsbreak views with Medium views. It can get addictive and not beneficial for your writing and mental health to focus on money and statistics. Being obsessive about it can sneak up on you. When you check your statistics weekly, then daily then multiple times a day all you will see are the white flowers. Just one color, money, and numbers.
