Celestial Reasoning

When I find myself alone Outside among the stars, Yearning for a fiery descent Across the void, I think of you. These stars — our stars — They burn brighter than the day, And in that instant I see you. All of you, in your Night sky evening gown, Every sparkle and diamond shining below Your waxing crescent smile. It is then I can feel you Move closer, hold tighter, Fingers, hearts and souls intertwined While minds and moons compare Love and gravity. I am never alone Outside among the stars.
