There once was a time when the world agreed on who the biggest “stars” were: Actors, musicians, and athletes.

Today, the biggest celebrities in the world are people that you have probably never heard about. ‘TikTok famous” and “Instagram influencer” are no longer meaningless buzzwords.

Now people are making a real impact on the world through their content.

YouTubers are leveraging their audience to bypass the traditional route of success. They are able to move into areas that would normally take years of training, blood, sweat, and tears to get into.

TikTok creators are using their personalities to influence how big companies operate. They are teaching these Fortune 500 businesses how to brand and how to truly connect with people, not just as customers, but as people.

“Celebrity” is no longer what WE as a society deem it to be. Celebrities are the people that YOU look up to. The people who inspire YOU.
