Celebrations In Life
In response to DEP’s Prompt 49 of 52 by Dr. Preeti Singh

Thank you Dr. Preeti Singh for the lovely prompt.
There are so many beautiful things we can celebrate in life including the tiny rock I am trying to hold up and push around in the picture while visiting one of the most amazing waterfalls — Watson Falls with a 294-foot drop — I have seen in my life in the Umpqua National Forest about 2 hours from Bend, Oregon.

I celebrate LIFE itself.

Every day, every moment of life is a gift.
I celebrate people around me. My friends, my family, my spiritual family, my writing family, my veterans family, my co-workers, my patients.
I celebrate the planet.

I celebrate existence.
I celebrate not birthdays — I celebrate you every day.
I am not good at remembering birthdays. — I do know mine, my spouse, my mom and my kids some friends….There are too many of them. I simply can not remember all. I try and celebrate friends and family with every interaction I have.
On that note, my father turned 70 a few days ago and I did forget, don't check Facebook that often where all my magical birthdays exist…. I sent him well wishes a day later after I was talking to my sister and she reminded me. Ups. He still liked my message. To be fair he forgets mine as well.
I celebrate every day.
I celebrate the ability to enjoy nature, good company, plants, and animals.
I celebrate the miracles of life.

I celebrate our ability to feel the air around us.
Feel
Feel the Wind, Step into the Water, Dance with the Rain, Sing with the Sun, Warm by the fire.
Look at the stars. Live today.
Warm my heart.
Join my life. Bring the magic. Move your feet. Speak your truth.
Live life, Celebrate Us.

I celebrate my anniversary today.
Yet there is no celebration really. I celebrate my life and living with the person I love every day.
May your day be joyful, beautiful, and full of celebration.
