“I, Geetika Sethi, the Master of Ceremonies for this evening welcomes you to our 1st Birthday. We are so happy that you stopped by to join in the celebration. You’re right in time! So let’s start this evening with an introduction to ILLUMINATION.”

Wiggle, Wiggle, Wiggle … On June 18th,2019 a seed that was sown by Dr Mehmet Yildiz finally bore fruit. The conception took place impregnating our dear Medium with ILLUMINATION.

Those 9 months were a smooth sail. I guess like it’s said – there is calm before the storm, and it was just that!

On 18th March 2020, in the wee hours of the morning, right during the global COVID-19 pandemic, labour started. Dr Mehmet Yildiz, the most active and super-intelligent brain, who excels in every single field knew that Medium couldn’t hold on any longer. It was time for delivery – the moment to be born and come alive.

And soon was born ILLUMINATION to Medium.

Let me tell you a little secret. Medium is the surrogate for not just Dr Mehmet Yildiz but way many more. So since the charge to take care of the baby is always with the one who sows the seed, that is exactly what happened.

Well, in a race of so many baby publications being born, right from start he knew that it will be a tough competition. He being strong, knew his baby ILLUMINATION will one day be at the top.

But can it all happen without any blessing? Does anyone think it can? I seriously doubt, as to bring up a baby in a big joint family- a lot of collective decisions, compromises and most of all competitions occur, all along.

This exactly was the situation with ILLUMINATION growing up. Teething occurred, causing pain. Crawling happened, knees got hurt. Learnt to stand, after many falls. And then started walking, fell down but got up until we picked up the pace and we learnt to race. Now it’s a daily race and we are always running to be in front- each day to be Numero Uno.

Going back to our journey on turning one, we all know it was possible only and only because of our Lord Shiva. The one we find our God in. The one who helps us overcome all wrath and teaches us how to move on patiently in all modesty. He fights for us and saves us when we do wrong to overcome any upcoming destruction. He originates ideas, themes and everything for us.

His third eye is always open. Our very own Lord Shiva – who is the most kind-hearted and good soul, for us is none other than Dr Mehmet – the COO of ILLUMINATION.

I hope all my illuminating team will agree with me on this, that our Doc is Our Lord Shiva, as he posses all the same traits. Lord Shiva is omnipresent and thus for us, he is present in Dr Mehmet Yildiz.

So in his blessed hands, ILLUMINATION is growing day by day. It won’t divide and not get divided either. Rather it has spread its wings and taught all its followers to fly, fly as high as one wishes only because he is the wind beneath our wings.

And at that, Let the party begin. Champagne pops, marking today to be the start to our being No 1.
