The rubber band ball technique…

Out of all of the activities my therapist ever suggested, this is my favorite by far.

Step #1: Buy as many rubber bands as you can get your hands on. Try out different widths, sizes and colors. Go to your favorite store, or even check out Walmart or Amazon.

Step #2: Start off with a rubber band knot, and slowly wrap the rubber bands around each other until you get a giant ball.

The rubber band ball: For every accomplishment, pull off a rubber band. You went grocery shopping, and you hated it?! Pull off a rubber band! You called your mother, and she asked when you’re getting married again, pull off another!

Try putting it some place you’ll see it every day, on your dresser or your coffee table. It could even make for a great topic of conversation.

Watch that ball get smaller!
