November Six Word Photo Story Challenge: “Collecting Smiles”
Smile, you are on camera, Jay!
A couple of years ago, a lady friend and I visited Amsterdam. We were sightseeing and enjoying lots of liquid refreshments. All the drinks on the hot summer day caused me to search for a Plaskrul in Leidseplein.
A Plaskrul is a public urinal that you can use on the streets in Amsterdam. Some do not have the perforated protective curling sheet at all. Anyway, I needed to relieve my bladder urgently. Whilst inside the Plaskrul, Karen snapped the photo without me being aware.
She suddenly shouted, “Smile, you are on camera, Jay!” Startled, I looked at her. She was laughing and said, “Got ya!” She was clearly enjoying my embarrassment at being snapped in tinkling action.
Whenever I see this photo she sent me, it makes me smile and remember the impromptu tinkling photo session in Amsterdam.
Thanks, Vidya Sury, Collecting Smiles for this interesting November prompt using your personal tagline. Mary Chang Story Writer, thanks for a great publication.
