Cat And Dog Living In Harmony By Love Energies.
Momo and Lola live together in unison

Khushi brings home a new pet
My granddaughter, Khushi, called me excitedly! Hello, Dadi (grandmother) please come and spend this weekend with us. It is a long weekend and no school. Mom and Papa also have a break from work. Please come she pleaded! I have a new pet, Lola.
Khushi already had a dog called Momo. It was a Shihtzu a play dog. It was like a toy. Everyone in the house loves her. I tried to love her but she would bark a lot at me. They would keep on saying Momo be quiet this is Dadi but she would not listen. Now after a year, she has suddenly turned friendly with me.

My daughter-in-law (DIL for short) picks up Momo like a real mother and gives her a lot of time and love. My son too loves dogs. Their younger daughter Trisha falls all over Momo and makes her a playmate. Such is the love for Momo in that house. It is a welcoming home for Momo.
This is not all? My DIL’s parents dote over Momo. Momo also loves them. In particular, my DIL’s father actually speaks softly in Momo’s ear and she responds as though she understands everything.
It looks like a human-to-human talk and the discussion goes on in partnership between them. Momo is always excited when she meets them and is ready to spend the day with them. This is a sight to see and believe. She puts up her head on one side sits in the lap of both and you can feel the love energies.
Now Khushi was proclaiming that she had another pet. Some time ago she had brought a squirrel from the park who had been hurt and wanted to look after her and turn her into a pet. The squirrel did not survive and she was heartbroken. My DIL told me that she did not want to disappoint Khushi and so she had brought another pet home.
My introduction to the new pet
On my son’s birthday, I met the pet for the first time. To my surprise, it was a cat who they named Lola. She was thin and quiet and I was advised not to go near her.
My son said “Lola is a cat don’t go near her. She can scratch you and you will be hurt. Everyone in the house has had to take an injection. She is not yet trained.” He scared me no end but I saw that both Khushi and Trisha were playing with the kitten.
I remembered my mother who never liked cats and if a cat crossed our path she would say, “Let us go back, no work will be done today”, and would take a U-turn and come back later.
I remembered reading the poems of Dr. Fatima Imam and now one recently that her cat Luke was her great companion. She always found him lovable
I recently read another poem by Hamsalekha that cats and dogs could live together. She already has a dog and wanted to keep a cat as a pet too. She wrote a poem Cats or dogs I hate this question
Poems and praises were one thing but I had to face a cat at home with a dog. Will I be up to it? See Lola in the picture below:

Although I was scared in the beginning as the cat was swift and jumped and moved very fast, she took very little time in getting friendly with me, unlike Momo. She would suddenly come and move between my legs and would say Meaw Meaw. Thus ended my fear of her because she loved me.
See the picture below of Momo and Lola playing together.

Momo and Lola live in harmony
People ask me whether the two pets Momo and Lola live happily together. My friends were as ignorant as I was about cats and dogs living a joyous life together. I showed them several pictures of the two playing together. Then I captured a short video when they were playing together.
