Carrie Lam is not so innocent of the global coronavirus pandemic after all
I don’t like to comment on Hong Kong current affairs, sometimes I even hate to follow, as there is too many delusional people with too many illogical statement.
The regime chief Carrie Lam lambasted a statement recently, claiming that is “unfair” to criticize her & her regime on how they deal with the pandemic.

In the recent Yau Ma Tei lockdown, the whole town had gone through a mad rumour for 18 hours on whether there is a blockade. Even worse, that some officials on the ground don’t know when and how long the lock down will be, at 3am Saturday, just an hour before the rumoured blockade, a 2 day one or 14 day one. That’s certainly not a sign the government is working.
I have to say Carrie Lam should be blamed for the pandemic, as she even today refuse to stop the travel from Mainland China, where we all assumed the coronavirus came from.
And Hong Kong’s international airport, as a region hub was always a popular choice for Chinese tourists to transfer to flights to other countries. There were multiple cases in the early days of pandemic, in different parts world can be traced back to flights from Hong Kong. It is shown in the news, as well as public record.
If Carrie Lam had shut down the transfer and stop the flight from Wuhan and high speed rail from China earlier, the virus may not end like a global pandemic today, and not some many virus strains from Nepal and UK to “bounce back to Hong Kong”.
So Carrie Lam is not so innocent of the global coronavirus pandemic after all.
