Captain Of Your Ship
Do you set sail, or do you bail?

All of us are captains with our own ship,
in a life just as short as a holiday trip
Having no real idea of why this earth exists,
only thinking that before & after us, it still persists
Your ship can be fast & strong or be like a small raft,
It all depends on the time you spend on your craft
If you put in the blood, sweat & tears,
your ship might scare away all of your fears
Some captains like to sail more than others,
and why not? Because in the end, there is no one who really bothers
But know that once you set sail,
you shouldn’t give yourself the opportunity to bail
Because as soon as you’re on your way,
there is no reason to waste another day
Don’t expect the ocean to always be calm, and remember,
the journey is not about being cozy and warm
Sometimes the ship might even sink, but don’t think,
’Cause you can still swim, even if it all seems dark & grim
There is no importance in the destination,
but life is an invitation to exploration
So go ahead before you drown,
and you’re forever down.
